Party Time
The congress delegates had a ceilidh so this seemed like a suitably celebratory blip to mark my seventh Blipday. I have been holding off posting this as we are on holiday and I planned a bit of a yearly review like last year. Only now, having carefully gathered the links I need, I discover there doesn't appear to be any way of adding links to a post when using the iPad. Which is frustrating. So all those links might or might not get added when we get home again and I can use the desktop.
Another year of blipping. Thanks as ever to everyone involved, from the Fab Four at Blip Central to everyone who has ever looked at, liked or commented on one of my blips, or shared blips of their own that I have enjoyed seeing.
Without the links I'll make a truncated list of blipping highlights - you might remember some of them.
August - P on the Prom during the Big Beach Busk
September - Art Walk Porty, including my Lightbox collaboration with J and then meeting her for the first time in almost thirty years. An anniversary party with his n hers cakes.
Thought provoking art in October.
A trip to the Lakes, a friend's wedding at Andy Murray's hotel and a light for Aleppo in November.
Getting lucky with a Kingfisher in December.
Loonies to start the year again and then old Christmas trees on the beach seen by thousands as a local website linked to my blip.
Meeting friends in the country in February.
A local feline celebrity on the street in March.
Helping to organise TEDxPortobello 2017 and making new friends, culminating in the big day in May.
Photographing the World's Best Barman in April, as well as revisiting a family portrait eight years on and celebrating twenty-two years since our first date.
The success of the Bellfield campaign, my 2500th blip marked in sand on the beach and a tiny ceilidh in The Skylark.
Back to see another Acting Out show in June and Row Porty catching a crab at their own regatta.
A giant of world cinema and an old friend back where she belongs on the beach.
A race through the year and some of my personal favourites!
