Scratch

One thing I have my eye on is making a display out of this scratch map, which is mounted on a cork board. I want to print off thumbnail sized pictures of places I've been to and sights I've seen, and use pins and brown string to link it all up. I'll dig around in boxes of old bus tickets, souvenirs and mementos and stick them on there too.

I've slipped into that state that when I was a spontaneous expat I found baffling. The 'I can see you seven months on Thursday' state when diaries get full.

With trips to South Sudan thrown in, I don't have any free weekends for scratch mapping until October. The project is on ice.
