The woodpecker family

Main photo is the female (no red on the head), first extra is the male (red on the back of the neck), second extra is a young one (red on the top of the head for both male and female, more there supposedly on the male, but without anything to compare it with I won't guess about this one). The juvenile has its tongue out!

Its been a really wet day, and I haven't been out at all - these photos were taken with the camera on a tripod in the back room, with the patio door just open. You can just see the rain falling in some of the photos.
