Bicycle-cameras which are waterproof out of the box are all well and good but what we really need for this sort of weather is one which comes with an automatic nictitating membrane to get rid of the troublesome number-plate-identification-blocking globs of water from the middle of the lens which no amount of regular sharp head-shaking can shift.

Whilst I generally prefer interesting puzzle-things to skip around instead of drudgery to plod through it's been a while since I was unable to get back to sleep after waking up early purely due to worrying about how something would transpire that day at work, though in the end everything went relatively swimmingly. Unpleasant when it happens, though.
