Cold and wet

The Fair Maid of Perth is the subject of a novel by Sir Walter Scott. Her statue is one of the more popular features of the High Street. When she first arrived, some kind person took pity and gave her a scarf and foot muff for the winter. They soon disappeared and she has sat here for many years without protection.

Thank you all for the good wishes on my 300th blip. I didn't realise the number was coming up, and it fell on a back-blip chosen more or less at random. However, perhaps that is in the spirit of blipping.
