Wet weather photography!

The wettest day for weeks and it happens to be the day that the photographer from Gardeners' World magazine, Paul Debois,  is in Orkney to photograph three seaside gardens!

Not only was the weather against him, but Paul's hire car was waiting for him in Inverness instead of Kirkwall, so Mike volunteered to be his chauffeur for the day!  Also the main brolly holder!  

He was a really nice and interesting chap, and it was fascinating seeing him work and the images that he could produce from his camera and various lenses.  We'll have to wait until next spring/summer to see the photos in print, but it will certainly be a day to remember.  I bet Paul won't forget it in a hurry either!  .
