Today was my first full day in Vancouver. I haven't been here since 2002 and it's good to be back staying with my friends Derick and Ryan. I was out early (for me) and the weather reminded me of Edinburgh - warm-ish and overcast. By mid-afternoon the weather turned all Canadian summer again - hot! I was glad to have a chance to freshen up before going out to dinner with D&R right on English Bay - with a beautiful sunset that went undocumented.

The blip is from an interesting afternoon on Granville Island where a ring left my possession, as if to make space for another to come. Most curious.
