the other side

We went to a funeral today that took place on the opposite side of the county. Mr I's brother-in-law, Mick, died last week, and was buried today in Billesdon cemetery. The church service was lovely with many attending. He was a farmer and the cemetery is on the edge of the village next to fields of sheep. It was a time to see members of the family we don't see very often too. Neither of us had seen him for a while but we have memories of him being outspoken but very kind.

I only took this one picture today as we walked up to the cemetery. You can just see the tops of the tombstones in the field on the left.
