Forest Foray

Out with my cycling mates in Epping Forest. We tried a new café for our stop. We were short changed. There were seven of us and we all ordered tea. However the teapots that were delivered to our table only contained 5 portions worth. Scandal! 

But we were a bit unsure and none of us plucked up the courage to contest the issue. Mind you, just before we realised, I did go up and get one pot refilled with boiling water. But a topped up pot is never the same, is it?

And the jam scones weren't as good as the ones up at the airfield caff. So not sure if we will go back. First world problems, eh? On the plus side it was cheap. 

The ride home was largely downhill and BikeShopNick took this one of us bowling along a forest track. That's me in the middle. A super ride with chums and banter.
