The inside of my head.

So it looks like I have a new job - I was interviewed last week for the post of Licensing Standards Enforcement Officer in Edinburgh, and yesterday I was offered the position.

Although I'm very keen to move to this new employment, it was with a heavy heart that I told my current colleagues my news. I've made a couple of good friends in Melrose, and that makes it tougher to leave. Still, it's a great excuse for more lunches!!

I had a cycle trip pencilled in for this afternoon, but the torrential rain made that impossible. I hope you've had some sunshine in your life today.
