A Day At A Time.

Oportunidad

This morning's walk took us 2.5 km straight up the hill from the bottom of Viñas to the top of the golf course. Quite a hard stride, but as Duke kept stopping to investigate interesting smells, there were several unscheduled breathers along the way. Coming back down was easier, I have to admit.

At the very top, a dual carriageway of no more than 50 m length, complete with street lamps, leads to... this derelict house.

It occupies a great position, with sweeping views to the mountains on one side and across the golf course down to the sea on the other. Much better than the three new and very modern-looking villas being constructed slightly further down the hill. They have uninterrupted views into the back doors of a load of unoccupied apartment blocks and no sea view at all.

All it would take to renovate this old house would be some imagination.

And a shed load of cash.

In other news, we are off to see George Benson in Marbella this evening. Apparently I shall need my boogying shoes on!
