Abstract Thursday :: Drooping Agave

There ought to be a face there somewhere, but in any case the drooping, drying frond of the agave against the stone retaining wall makes an interesting abstract. I took the picture straight from the camera without doing anything to it but cropping out the neighbors' dying redwood tree.

We took Ozzie to Dr Steve, our vet friend who went to UC Davis with Dana, for a sore foot and found out he has two infected ears and he's overweight! After all, he's a lab! He's 11, so Steve thinks he probably also has some arthritis in his elbow! We came home with ear antibiotics and doggie Advil. Seems perhaps we also need a revised owners manual....
