Humbled

Didn't manage to say all I wanted to to students or staff today - emotion was a little close to surface. However I was so very touched by all the gifts and cards. A really lovely community of people - young and old. Sad but sanguine and the excitement on the horizon has helped. Last car share today - end of an era.
Mum and Dad took me out to supper tonight - just us three. Retirement and new futures celebrated.
