Wednesday

Mum and I popped into Falmouth during the morning where I managed to get some new sandals and mum picked up two tops in the M&S sale.

Dad then drove us to a lovely Italian restaurant near Helston where we all enjoyed a scrumptious lunch. The day had been quite cloudy with splashes of sunshine in the afternoon. This was the view from the restaurant when one of the splashes occurred:-))

An evening walk was called off due to the rain. Mum and I played cards instead.

Edit.... forgot to mention that on the way to the restaurant we were waiting to come out of a side road onto a main road when a couple of police bikes went past and signalled to us not to pull out. A minute or two later an entourage of 5 big black cars (one being a Bentley) drove past with a police escort. It was only Prince Charles and Camilla visiting the duchy;-))
