Sunset at Dover
It seemed appropriate to post a sunset at the end of our holiday where it began 10 1/2 weeks ago here. We have travelled just over 100 miles to Calais where we stopped to do our final shop. Although the notorious camp had gone, there were still several groups of immigrants walking along the side of the road as we approached the ferry terminal. In the terminal we saw a group of men on the ground surrounded by armed police. Very sad.
We settled on the farm site near Dover as usual and watched the horses grazing in the next field but as the sun set our blip for today was decided.
