Parting picture

Normally I try not to post two similar pictures within a week or so. Today I make an exception. Today was a goodbye day, a very hard goodbye day. Saying goodbye to the people we love here, who have been so amazingly welcoming. Saying goodbye to the house, the forest, I guess also the life we had here. To everything and everybody who gave us a home here when we moved continents. It was the best and I do not want it to end. But things do come to an end. We leave here today knowing we won't be back for at least a year, not knowing whether it will be the same when we come back, but knowing we will be back. So long, Millbrook and field station. I miss you already <3
