Over the Coquet

MrM's 'all-day-every-day' shoes are falling apart (understatement!) so, as soon as I arrived back from work this afternoon, we set off to Rothbury to have a look round the amazingly good shoe shop there. He bought two pairs of shoes - one for use in the workshop and the other for normal wear - in the hope that the second pair won't get covered in dust and glue or disintegrate due to overuse. He just needs to remember to change his shoes when he goes into the workshop! I seem to have acquired a pair of shoes too - slightly smarter than my usual, very functional footwear.

We parked on the other side of the River Coquet and walked over this footbridge in to the centre of Rothbury. When we'd finished shoe-shopping - and it didn't take long - we enjoyed a walk by the river with Louie.
