At last.....

Every evening we have had a thunderstorm after a stinking hot day but only a few drops of rain. Tonight the heavens opened in a torrential downpour and it is still raining steadily. I am not sure if it is in time for the crops but at least our well will fill up.
I played German Scrabble this afternoon while poor Hubby was preparing the terrace in the heat for concreting on Saturday. I think he prefers me out of his hair when he is working, anyway.
