Postcard from Kotalm

Some before, during and after images from this afternoon's hill-walk. Our planned brief stop at Kotalm turned into a wait-until-the-thunderstorm-has-passed stop. But their soup was good! The wind turned around just as we left to head back down so we got a wee bit damp.
Kotalm is at 1,200 m and it was a fair old climb up there, about 500m I think, so it took twice as long and a bit more to go up than to come down. The new 'alpine walking' sticks (as opposed to walking sticks!) got a good try-out and made a couple of good saves on the descent. No skint knees for me.
