Swans on the Mole

The family of swans and cygnets had to paddle fast to maintain their position below the bridge over the River Mole at Leatherhead. There was obviously good feeding to be had. This part of the river is part of the plan to brighten up Leatherhead, and they plan to make a riverside walk with cafes and seats. Time will tell as to whether it will really happen. Maybe I will be blipping the new scene in a year's time.

On this my five year birthday I find it hard to believe I have blipped for all this time. I have missed a few days, but that hasn't spoilt my enjoyment of this wonderful community where I have made so many brilliant virtual friends. Thank you all for your thoughtful comments and encouragement over the years. It has been a great experience, long may it last!
