Autumn approaches

This single dog walker on the moor reminded me of an old film title "The loneliness of the long distance runner" I'm not sure why. Maybe it was seeing the runners on the fell in my fellow blippers shots or its the obvious change in season having come from warmer climes. Or maybe just the single person on the moor with only the dogs for company triggered some memory of walking alone with our dogs in Shipley glen. Whatever the reason it seemed that it had to be the blip of the day.

ps We are hoping to get a dog in the new year. Is someone trying to tell me something?
