A day to myself

And I spent it cutting the grass, doing 4 loads of washing (drying it outside and keeping an eye out for the forecast rain), attempting to fix the loose tap in the kitchen (failed, not enough space to get the spanner round the nut), doing the ironing, cooking dinner, and finally combining a driving lesson with a trip to the supermarket. I managed to fit in a couple of half hours with a book and a coffee.

It's now nearly 9.30pm and time to put my feet up, watch TV and munch some cherries.
