Blackbird

A beautiful morning and warm early on so I was out in the garden having my breakfast. This Blackbird was enjoying the sun too and sunbathing on the steps. As I turned round I noticed the horses looking at something and caught a very quick glimpse of a roe deer or two speeding across the field.
I went to Avoch with Mike and helped wash the car. We then took our lunch to Rosemarkie and sat in the car and ate it. It was so hot by then that we did nt fancy going outside.
It clouded over this afternoon , waiting for the rain now. It was a lovely balmy evening yesterday and I sat outside till it got dark watching the huge moths flying around
