European Adventure Day 15: Graz

Breakfast at the local cafe then the number 40 bus into town. Wandered through the farmers' market, (lots of lovely potatoes Mum!) and walked past some very modern buildings in amongst the old.

Had a look at the 'Island in the ''Mur' - a floating art installation made from glass and steel. Very unusual toilet decoration of strange mirrored walls which made me feel quite odd!

We then went back up to the Schlossberg. Mr Scottie5 opted for the glass lift inside the mountain, while I trudged up the 260 steps to the top. Schnitzel and chips as a treat when we got there. Came back down via this pagoda which had wonderful views over the city. We both climbed down the 260 steps.

We heard some fabulous accordion playing today by two young boys, whose repertoire was so varied!
