Songkran Day 3: Free hugs

I still was ill but I'd had enough rest that I was feeling well enough to head out for the final day of celebrations.

Lucy and I had decided to risk taking our SLR cameras out. We had a plastic cover each which would protect it from splashes but having a bucket of water thrown over it would likely still do some damage. It was definitely worth the effort as there were so many amazing sights. I wish I'd taken the camera out for 2 of the days.

This guy is Luciano and he's been offering free hugs to strangers in Chiang Mai for years, even when he's soaking wet during Songkran.
