Productive

After yesterday's snoozeathon meeting, today has been about productive meetings! First up a Supply Chain Partner who has made significant improvement and been highly innovative, outshining some of the bigger companies within their sector. I was actually quite jealous because if they want to do things they just get on with it, rather than have decisions made by committees which take months to get sorted.

Then an afternoon talking about change, management mistakes and challenging the status quo. It's great to know that I'm not on my own, and that there is an appetite for changing the way we do business, less command and control and more trust and empowerment.

Today's picture is of the SA1 development in Swansea, still a work in progress after the Welsh Assembly Government used some ring fenced money for the development on other things. Shock! Horror! Politicians don't stick to what they say!
