Locked out

Me and Xander had a 'get jobs done' kind of day today. We cut the grass, we did 3 loads of washing and then went for a bike ride to collect the little key ring we've had made for Phoebes teacher. However disaster struck as I closed the front door! I had locked us out. What a plonker. I rang James in a bit of a panic, how was I going to do the school run with my car keys inside?!

He jumped straight into the car to come to our rescue, but he was over an hour away...We had time to kill so went for a exploration around the village. We followed the footpath by the side of the golf course and it lead us out into a wonderful corn field. The view was beautiful and I can't believe we haven't ventured up there before. On the way back we stopped at the skate park. Xander fun running up and sliding down the ramps.

James arrived back an hour and 15 mins later and normal service resumed.

This afternoon we went to the library so Phoebe could sign up to the summer reading challenge. I'm not 100% sure how it all works but Phoebe is enthusiastic to give it a go!
