Hursthole Point

The frequently photographed tree on Bassenthwaite Lake was my blip subject this morning.  I popped to the lake before we packed up and headed home the breeze by the lakeshore was very welcome.  The heat was unbearable this morning, the car told us it was 28 degrees so we were glad we had no plans for walking as it would not have been enjoyable in that heat.  Home again now, we had a lovely couple of days but looking forward to sleeping in a conventional bed again.  Will catch up with comments in the next couple of days!
