Today is

Our wonderful friend Tig made this many years ago, and it used to hang in her hallway. Only guests were allowed to change the date. She passed it on to us when the children were little and we got much joy from it. And now we are passing it on to Marc's youngest neice and nephew. I am so pleased they want it.

I spent the day clearing and sorting clothes and shoes. 10 binbags full to go to the tip tomorrow, my wardrobe looks fabulous, the (laughingly named) boot room is now so clear and well organised Ben said it was frightening. A really satisfying way to spend the day. Tomorrow, all the paper....
