More Rain

Yesterday I left London in the pouring rain (see yesterday's blip). I must have brought the bad weather with me. There were storms with hail and thunder and lightening for much of the day today. At midday it almost looked like evening time. There was nowhere I really needed to go and I spent the entire layover at the hotel. This picture was taken from the hallway outside my room in the 16th floor of the hotel.

I was sure our evening flight back to London would be delayed but amazingly we left right on time.
