I woke feeling emotional today and the best thing to do was to get on with the job applications.  I think that my Mum's illness has suddenly really hit me now that I'm not busy working etc :(

Tomorrow I am seeing the Dr to discuss my Mum's cancer because apparently it can be inherited, but very treatable if picked up quickly (both my brother and I have been advised to check this out as our Dad has had bone cancer as well (some 10 years ago))....I am bound to get emotional and I really wish I wasn't made that way sometimes...

It was good that I was having lunch with my friends from India and my local friend K who I haven't seen for ages :)
