Kentmere and Gardening

A lovely day so I set off early and drove to Kentmere village at the end of a four mile single track road. There are only ten parking spaces in Kentmere so arriving early is a necessity. Walked up to the valley to the reservoir and found to my surprise that it was almost empty - not much more than a large puddle.

After running a couple of errands in kendal I spent a few hours in the garden clearing ivy, nettles and brambles from the border from hell.
