I saw this old car in Meg village today on the way to my Mum and Dad's. I like to see these old vehicles, but I'm just as glad that vehicle engineering has moved on. 

It's been really hot today. Like a muppet I forgot to put cooler clothes on and was sweltering in my jeans all day! I helped with a few jobs in the garden, chicken-related tasks and the usual stuff around the house. 

As I walked past work on the way home I thought how glad I am that I won't be there tonight - it will be ridiculously hot in that shop! We'll take Jae to wrestling and do the weekly shop at Asda, since it's right nearby.
