Merewether Beach

A quick stop at the beach on my way home and then late night shopping. This man was doing a new type of surfing. He had a small board. He would stare at the waves waiting for the right moment. He would then take off running as fast as he could down to the water's edge and just before he got there would throw the board down and ride it. Seems a lot of work to me for a small result.

It must be muck up day today. I have never seen so many boys dressed as nuns, girls as cheer leaders, brides, clowns and fancy dress types around the mall. I really wanted to get all the brides at the Apple shop but didn't have my little camera with me.
