Careening Hard (yet again!)

Not the most exciting photograph but I was trying to get a lot done and have just about got through my To Do List.
I met an old friend who I haven't seen for about 17 years. Great to catch up with him and hope to bump into him again in another 17 years or so...

I discovered this morning that the building my flat is in was originally The Kings Arms which was bought by Ben Gabriel in 1962 and became part of his emporium of shops.  I love the idea of it having been a pub but am very glad it isn't now; I prefer quieter neighbours.
