Glimpses of Blackheath 16

Last time many of you were quite convinced that I was laying down on the job here. All right then - struggle to your feet (avoid any passing trains, mind) and head back the way we originally came, crossing the highway. Turn left (i.e. north) and walk approximately 150 metres until you reach Gardiners Crescent.

Walk east down a steep hill (about another 150 metres) and enter the Memorial Gardens which offer a variety of different spaces ranging from "adventure playgrounds" to open lawn, covered barbecue areas, duck ponds, groves of rhododendron trees and this tree lined track leading to the top of the rise.
