Mary Oliver

A muggy day with rain off and on so I pulled out a book by Mary Oliver to pass some time..this is one of my favorite passages in her book Upstream.

If you haven't read any of her poems I hope you will do so.  She has a way with words about nature and life.

Thanks so much for all the comments on our ugly bird feeder.  I watched the squirrel sit on the ground today trying to figure out how to jump up but he did not!    But the engineering added another layer of height..a big blue bucket just in case the squirrels can make a 6 feet jump straight up.
