Mad dogs and Englishmen

Go out in the midday sun. Except it was only 930am but it was already about 40 and rising humidity. Most certainly not the dry heat of the day before. It took about 10 minutes to cool down after my long walk along the corniche before I could order anything in the cafe. The intensity of the heat is like nothing I've felt before.

The rest of the day was spent joining a health club and flat hunting. I have choices and am feeling more optimistic than last week.

Back into the classroom tomorrow.
