Which way to go?

I decided to avoid the golf balls and went to Rosemarkie.  It has the more interesting beach, and my binoculars told me that Channory Point was dolphin free. I also discovered the Bistro at the Plough Inn and had a nice chat with a wee family and their two dogs. (A whippet-like lurcher, and a labradoodle.) Got a fish supper on the way home. All I all, not a bad day. I've put in a few extras.
Note: Rosemarkie is on the Black Isle, which is neither black, nor an island.
