Bugs and Butterflies
We did the 'seven stile walk' this afternoon before coming back to watch the men's singles final from Wimbledon. Loads of bees, butterflies and bugs around enjoying the sunshine, and at one point I disturbed something large and brown about three feet away from me in the hedge; not sure if it was a fox or a muntjac. At the risk of being very nicely shot down in flames like I was last time I tried to identify a butterfly I'd say this was a Red Admiral, while my extra shows a couple of beetles and several caterpillars which I think will become Cinnabar Moths when they grow up.
