Crusher!

I'm not sure what you call that thing but it was crushing all the general waste in a container when I got down to the Dump.  Our Dump has just reopened after a period of renovation so I had a lot to discard this morning.  Sue held a meeting with us neighbours this morning about an 18 metre high tower that is going to be build in our field  -  it will affect the view from her cottage so she isn't very happy about it.  Alec thinks it may affect our health. It will be interesting to see if it features in the local paper this week  -  everyone in the village will have received a letter and plans from the firm that is hoping to create a broadband and wi-fi network grid across the UK  -  no doubt some villagers will contact the local press.  We already have electricity pylons crossing the field so this is just another feature of technological progress.
