Potentially the antidote to ‘farewell to Stromness’ - but yet to be composed. 

By the power of the internet, today we received an unsolicited email from a man who spent all of his childhood holidays in Rackwick on Hoy.  He was reminiscing and her shared thoughts of playing on the beach and being on the crofts and various visitors.  This was in the late forties and early fifties.  He asked about a few folk which included (unknown to him) CMC’s folk, Uncles and Grandparents who lived in Rackwick.  He wrote very well of his childhood and we took the time to send him a detailed reply.
