A Day in the Snow,, Rangitata Valley

Today we took a trip inland towards Mesopotamia to experience some High Country snow.

The main picture shows some hoar frost on some riverside willows just before Turnaround Point, the remaining images shot either at Messy and the valley.

The snow has now melted at home - although a stubborn piece of ice still holds on at the top of the driveway - so this was a great treat in such beautiful surroundings.
