The local council have decided to pull down the school that both my daughter Becky and I attended in Daventry.
I was there 1960 to 1964 and Becky 1985 to 1990, I think that's right.
The council say that it's more cost effective to rebuild than repair and maintain.
We visited to see it for the last time and spotted one of our old teachers, Mr Pilgrim.
The picture is of him and Becky.
It was really nice to chat about old times, he's well in his 80s now.
When I was 11 years old he frightened me, he made sure you knew he was the boss, he had quite a glare.
Looking very frail now.
