Fancy Gap

Hello blip friends... Funny things happen when you lay the camera down and get out of the habit of using it. Hope your summer was well.

It's been a so so summer. Some good and some fair I suppose. We'll say it's been a partly cloudy summer :D

This photo, (which isn't that great, I know) was taken with my phone while we were speeding home today. The hubster has had a bit of a medical issue the last few months and we had been to see another specialists at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

This is headed back up what is known as Fancy Gap Mt in Virginia just above the state line. Here, we're looking down on the state of North Carolina. One of those tall landmarks in the distance may be Pilot Mountain. (I'm not sure if there are any Andy Griffith fans, but that is where Mt. Pilot came from on his television show)

Anyway, I'll try and do better with the photos. Looks like we may be on this road a bit more in the near future (more tests for the hubster)
