Badlands

Turns out that we can't get into the lodge in the Black Hills until tomorrow. We had the unfortunate luck to have some of the few renters that didn't go home on Labor day. So we extended our little roadtrip across the middle of the country by driving through the Badlands. My mom and I took a short hike and also stopped at many turnouts to take photos. I still haven't been able to convince my mom to join blip. Someday!

I can't seem to get my panorama stitcher to work, so I can't blip any of the panoramas that I took. Hopefully this on can convey the rugged beauty of the Badlands.
