Salt and Pepper

These are not shakers but battery driven grinders. A great topic of conversation at dinner. They belonged to my late Aunty Bo who died early in the year. When my cousin was cleaning out the house she said I don't know who to give these to. She has a set and her brothers think they are crazy, so guess what, they came to me. not that I use salt or pepper often.

We had a roast lunch and had our son and daughter in law and their 4 plus our friend Grange. It was a cold morning but fined up enough to eat out in the sun for lunch.

Big news from our two big supermarket chains ( Woolworths and Coles). They are going to ban 'one use' plastic bags. I welcome the move to protect the animals they are harming as they don't break down for many, many years.

Our hot water system has stopped. We had to have a camp shower this morning and look at a replacement tomorrow when the shops and tradesmen are back at work. Bob is researching what will suit us best.
