Branscombe Village

Popped up into the village to try and get a shot of a cottage I have often admired.The elderly , but sprightly  occupant came out - told me how she had turned part of a field (opposite) into a garden 40 yrs ago, and the tending of it was her whole life. At 80 , she was testament to the benefits of keeping active !

we walked to the east end of the beach at low tide to see if it was possible to walk along the shoreline to Beer - it isn't so its up and over the hill tomorrow.
