Gift of the gab

Another splendid day. A visit to Cork wouldn't be complete without a trip to Blarney Castle. And a trip to Blarney Castle wouldn't be complete without kissing the Blarney Stone. This lovely chap presided over the ritual. Huge fun.
Then we went in search of a couple of Abbeys that I had on an old map. Kilcrae was gorgeous. Completely off the beaten track but no distance away. It took a bit of finding but was very well worth the effort. And then St Senan's. Really just what looked like a Norman church but fascinating nonetheless.
And tonight - our last night in Cork City - another terrific meal at Greene's just round the corner from where we are staying and some live music at Sine e. Brilliant.
