Brodick Bay

A bit of a wet, drizzly day here on Arran. We had a wander along the front of Brodick after breakfast. A wee visit to Arran Aromatics where Bb topped up on his favourite shaving soap supply and I got a body brush with natural fibres which I'd been looking for. We'd half hoped to do a bike run to Corrie, but the heavens opened and then opened again when we walked round the bay and we really got soaked! The lovely sitting room and free hot drinks and cake in the bed and breakfast were a welcome escape in the afternoon when I read on my kindle and finished and enjoyed the ending of a book that's been on the go for too long! There was about 15 mins of sun in the early evening and we enjoyed a walk out and a drink in the Armadale and dinner of fish and chips in the Brodick Bar - very good and perhaps our last fish and chips of this trip. Much hilarity on our walk home which had us both helpless and in hysterics...you had to be there.
